A tunnel boring machine stranded after a superstorm.
In 2015 I traveled to New York City to document a fascinating project. The tunnel boring machine at the Harbor Siphons project had stalled below New York Harbor due to flooding after Superstorm Sandy. This was the story of the heroic team that rebuilt the machine from the ground up and got the project running again.
